What’s more exciting than opening your first box of pre-release copies of your book? That’s right, nothing. Especially when you didn’t even know they were on their way. Not even the toddler asking ‘why?’ for the thousandth time could put a damper on my excitement. Holding the books and flipping through them and seeing all those thoughts finally take a physical form has been even more rewarding than I expected.
Next on my list of exciting news is a trip up to Provincetown, MA from October 12th-15th to join some of the other authors from Bold Strokes Books at Women’s Week. For the first time I’m going to have to go on stage and convince an audience I know what I’m talking about when it comes to writing. Thankfully I won’t be doing it alone. I’ll post the schedule tomorrow for anyone interested in coming out to support some great authors.
