One Man Guy by Michael Barakiva , 5 stars

one manI can’t say enough about how much I loved this book. It was the perfect blend of realistic issues with a relationship and fairy tale perfect romance. Alek and Ethan were the cutest couple ever and I would love to read more of their adventures, even though this book is clearly a one off.

The Armenian family element was something I hadn’t seen before and added a lot of dimension to the story. It makes the story feel true. I gotta believe Barakiva had or knows a family like this because you can’t just make up these quirks.

The only tiny issue I had was at first Ethan’s way of speaking seemed too forced. It was like the author was trying too hard to prove how cool Ethan was when he really didn’t need to. Once the relationship got going though, that faded away and Ethan spoke normally.

There really wasn’t anything specific that I loved, it was just an overall cute love story that I read in three sittings because each time I started I wanted to keep going forever. I will be checking out more from this author!

Oh, and the cover? Can I just add how stinking adorable and perfect it is?!
